Guided Exercises for Calming and Body Awareness
10 guided mindfulness exercises, sort of like short meditations. Each is only about five minutes long. Great for taking little breaks during the day or for slowly increasing your ability to sense and be in your body. A useful tool for reducing anxiety or pain.

No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz
--this is a very deep book about how we can really care for all the parts of ourselves

Nurturing Reslience by Kathy Kain and Steve Terrell
--information about early developmental trauma, its impact and how to treat it

Healing the Fragmented Selves of Trauma Survivors: Overcoming Internal Self-Alienation by Janina Fisher
--though written for therapists, this book has been helpful to clients, but they often can only read a tiny bit at a time

Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving by Pete Walker
--this one is very accessible and written for developmental trauma survivors, you can jump around and read whatever parts you want

There is Nothing Wrong with You by Cheri Huber
--she has written many, many other helpful and accessible books as well
--find other resources, including an archive of her call-in show, at the Living Compassion website.

Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski
--this is just a really great book
--written for cisgendered females, I think it is helpful for anyone who has a female body, has sex with someone with a female body or just anyone with a body
--also good info about the stress response

Wired for Love by Stan Tatkin
--this is usually my recommendation for relationship stuff

Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg

Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach
